Frequently Asked Questions
Where do we source our apples from?
CHANCE Clean Cider is produced in Worcestershire using only the best apples from within the British Cider Triangle, including varieties like Dabinett, Michelin, Vicky, and Fiona.
How is CHANCE Clean Cider made?
CHANCE Clean Cider is made to a traditional style with fermented fresh bittersweet apple juice, stretched with sugar to achieve a higher ABV. This is then ‘liquored down’ with water to achieve Chance’s signature 0.5% ABV base, retaining the perfect mouthfeel, flavour and body unlike any experience we could create removing alcohol through other methods.
Blending this 0.5% base with a 100% apple juice made from bittersweet varieties achieves our medium dry cider, capturing the characteristics of a traditionally higher ABV liquid.
Is CHANCE Clean Cider made in the UK?
Yes! We work with Aston Manor cider makers to create our 0.5% ABV cider at their Stourport site in Worcestershire.
How should I store non-alcoholic cider?
CHANCE Clean Cider can be stored in a cool, dark place but it’s best kept in the fridge so you always have one chilled for instant refreshment.
Can non-alcoholic cider go bad?
Like any lightly sparkled drink, you can expect it to lose its tingle over time. Taste-wise, CHANCE’s flavour profile might change slightly left unopened beyond the Best Before date we stamp on the neck of each bottle.
What’s the best way to serve non-alcoholic cider?
Whenever you can, serve CHANCE chilled. That said, we’ve all lived a day at a festival/camping when all the ice packs have melted - don’t sweat it, CHANCE will still taste delicious.
Is it safe to drink CHANCE while pregnant?
CHANCE is safe to drink during pregnancy, but if you’re worried about our ingredients, you can check them over with your GP. You can also check out our blog post on what 0.5% ABV really means.
